Any 5th-7th grade boys who are wanting to play summer league basketball, please turn in your sign-up forms and money by Friday. We need more boys to sign up in order to have a team!
High school boys who want to play summer league basketball need to turn in their forms and money to Mr. Hewitt by Friday, May 10.
Thanks to Jake Gill Band for helping us celebrate the end of our first year of the Falcon Family Program today at school. Everyone had a BLAST listening to Jake and his band perform. Jake is a 1995 Fairfield High School graduate. We are so glad he came back to visit us!
Congratulations to Mrs. Zink! She was given the award for Outstanding Early Literacy Teacher for her dedication to our Falcons as a teacher and as a KRR teacher during after school and summer school.

Due to the amount of rain we’ve had, some of our bus drivers have a challenge ahead of them this morning. We will do our best to reach each student, but the possibility exists that some roads will be impassable. It is likely that some of our routes may run later than usual. Thanks for your patience. Thanks also to our Fairfield transportation staff!
Due to the chance serve weather tomorrow (5/8/2019), the Falcon Family event at Camp Kanza has been relocated to the school. All activities will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium.
Students who have not turned in their permission slips for the Camp Kanza trip need to turn them in first thing in the morning or they will not be able to attend.
High school track practice has been cancelled today due to the weather!
There will be no middle school track practice tonight due to the weather!
The FMS/FHS Spring Concert will be tonight beginning at 6:30. The FHS Student Council will also be selling desserts following the concert. Come out and support our students in their last concert of the year!
The 2nd and 3rd grade field trip to Botanica Gardens has been cancelled for tomorrow, May 7th. The teachers are working on rescheduling the trip. Information will be sent home when details are finalized.
The FMS drama club play will take place this Friday, May 10 at 9:30 am and 7 PM in the Fairfield auditorium. Please come out and support the drama club. They have worked hard!
FHS students in Mrs. Lubbers' US History and World History classes toured the Eisenhower Museum in Abilene, World War I Museum in Kansas City and the Brown vs. Board of Education in Topeka.
