
FMS will host Stafford on Monday, November 28. Games will begin at 4:00 with B team girls, followed by B team boys, A team girls and A team boys.

Congratulations to Fairfield’s Team, who took first place at the Job Olympic Competition in Lyons today. They placed first out of 14 schools. Team members were Chase Combs, Charles Mendenhall, Kassie Schwab, Josh Sedgwick, and Skyler Schlumbohm. Sponsors were Jessie Kennedy and Missy Salazar.


The FMS Falcon Varsity Boys beat the Burrton Chargers with a score of 37-25. Great job Falcons, Coach Pankratz, and Coach Espinoza!

The FMS Boys Varsity leads Burrton 21-8 at the half.

There will be a parent meeting for the FHS Lady Falcon basketball team on Friday, November 18 at 5:45!

The middle school girls basketball game tomorrow has been cancelled due to Burrton not having enough players. The boys will still play at 6:00 pm.

The FMS basketball teams will start the season on Thursday, November 17 at Burrton. Varsity girls will play at 5:00 followed by varsity boys at approximately 6:00 pm. There will not be any JV or C team games. Good luck Falcons!


Parents Remember: that we try to go outside everyday for recess and your child needs to have proper winter clothing to stay warm. Please send them to school with a coat , hat, and gloves. Thanks

Fairfield High School will host a Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 11 beginning at 9:00 AM. The public is invited to join us as we honor those who served.


Congratulations to Fallon Brown, who earned FIRST CHAIR District Band for the KMEA region, including all 1-2-3-4A schools in Rice, McPherson, Marion, Reno, Sedgwick, Butler, Kingman, Harper, Sumner, and Crowley counties. She will perform with the Honor Band on December 3rd at Wichita East High School and is now eligible to audition for state on January 7th in Salina. We are proud of Fallon and her Band Director, Mr. Davis!


This week (November 7-13, 2022) is the KSHSAA Buffer Week. NO high school athletic programs may meet for practice, conditioning, etc.
The KSHSAA reads as follows:
Section 2: Senior High Regulations
FALL ATHLETIC BUFFER WEEK
Art. 1: There shall be no athletic practice, off season conditioning, informal basketball shooting, working out on wrestling
mats, etc., in school-owned facilities during the Fall Athletic Buff er Week, commencing on Monday of Standardized
Calendar Week (SCW) #19, through Sunday, SCW #20. Athletic activities of this nature may not be held under the supervision
of a school staff member in non-school facilities. This means a moratorium on all school-sponsored athletic
activities during this week.
Gymnasiums shall not be open to the students during the Fall Athletic Buffer Week for the purpose of shooting baskets,
working out with weights, etc., outside of school hours. Noon hour and physical education classes are considered part
of the school day.
