RCHD Offering Walk-In Vaccines This Weekend The Reno County Health Department, 209 W. 2nd, will be open Saturday, May 15, from 8 a.m. to noon for walk-in Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccinations. The Health Department also accepts walk-ins during their normal operating hours. Almost 70 percent of Reno County’s 65 and over population have been vaccinated and over 35 percent of Reno County Residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine. The greatest hesitancy for vaccination is within the 20 to 49 age group. The largest increases in cases over the past 14-days has been in the 10 - 19 and 30 - 39 age groups. The vaccine is FREE to anyone over the age of 16, regardless of citizen status or insurance, anywhere it is offered. To check availability of vaccines and locations, visit vaccinefinder.org.
