Picture Day is Monday!
Congratulations to these students who were recognized for their Pre-ACT scores from last spring! Rylee Wente, Tagan Metzger, Aaliyah Baker, Kenley Fowler, Jalen Busick, and Harper Elam were recognized as being Early Scholars for being in the top 35% of all Pre-ACT 8/9 test takers nation wide.
Kaidyn Lobban was recognized as being a Rising Scholar and also received a medal for being in the top 10% of all Pre-ACT 8/9 test takers!

FMS boys basketball will be having a special meeting on Sunday, September 28th at 4pm in the cafeteria. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball this winter need to attend the meeting in order to get fitted for jerseys. FFA District Land Judging scheduled for Wednesday, September 24th at Little River has been postponed until October 1st and will be hosted by Fairfield that day.
Updated information for Thursday's MS games at Fairfield. These games were originally scheduled to be hosted at Stafford but cannot be accommodated due to unforeseen circumstances.
Thursday's Middle School games at Stafford against Skyline have been moved to Fairfield on the same day. A schedule will be sent out shortly.

Fairfield High School had the opportunity to host the South Central District Greenhand Conference. We had 768 students from 47 schools in attendance, our goal was teach students about the three circle model of agricultural education, explore career opportunities, and complete a community service project.
A BIG thank you to all of the businesses and industry personal as well as presenters that came to share today!
Community Service is important as we think about the kind things we can do for others. We packed 50,000 meals today for the local food banks of Mac and cheese and apple cinnamon oatmeal. The total cost was $20,000. A special thanks to our staff as they helped pack the students from various schools today.

St. John has pushed back the start time for their cross country meet Thursday 9/18 to 11:00 AM.
There will be no activity routes tonight after practices.

8th grade parents recognition will occur as follows:
Volleyball in the Old Gym after the conclusion of the Fairfield vs Stafford "A" game.
Football will be at the football field prior to the start of the game. Parents please be there by 5:50pm to get lined up.
