On Thursday, January 11th Fairfield hosted the HOPL Scholar's Bowl Tournament. The ten participating schools were Pretty Prairie, Central Christian, Cunningham, Fairfield, Skyline, South Barber, Attica, Norwich, Burrton and Stafford.
The schools who were at the top of their pools and went on to finals were Central Christian (ended the night in 1st place), Pretty Prairie (2nd), Cunningham (3rd) and Fairfield (4th).
Fairfield was very excited to make it to finals, and out of 50 participants, Rex Zongker was awarded fifth place for highest individual score. Other members of the team are Ethan Beck, Garrett Lanning and Lucy Steen.
This team of four, plus Kora Zongker plan to attend regionals in Minneola on Thursday, February 1st. The top two teams from the regional meet will go on to state in Frankfort on February 10th.
