The FMS Falcons competed in the 2023 Stafford Track Meet on April 13, 2023, at Fairfield. In the seventh grade girls’ 100m Dash, Shayla Schwartz took second. In the Girls’ 3200m Run, Elianna Davis took fifth place, while the 4x200m Relay team took second place. It was composed of Aaliyah Baker, McKenzie Dickson, Shayla Schwartz, and Olivia Summey. In seventh grade girls’ Shot Put, Rylee Wente took the gold, followed by Holley Estes (4th), and Tagan Metzger (5th). In seventh grade girls’ Discus, Holley Estes took fourth place, followed by Ryle Wentee in sixth place and Claira Belvin in tenth place. In the eighth grade girls 100m Dash, Grayci McCurry took eighth place. Emma Mathes took ninth place in the 200m Dash and 4th place in the 400m Dash. The 4x100m Relay team (composed of Kora Zongker, Gracie Smyth, Grayci McCurry, and Kenley Fowler) took fourth place.This same group also took fourth in the 4x200m Relay. Emma Mathes took fourth in the High Jump and Kenley Fowler took seventh in the Long Jump. Gracie Smyth took tenth in the Long Jump and Ava Zimmerman took ninth place in the Shot Put and sixth in the Discus.
In the boys seventh grade competition, Pistol Payne took sixth in the 100m Hurdles, while Thad Brown came in eighth place. The team of Thad Brown, Jalen Busick, Leeland Epp, and Pistol Payne took fifth place in both the 4x100m and 800 Sprint Medley race. Jalen Busick placed sixth in the Long Jump and second in the triple jump. In the eighth grade classification, William McIver was third in the 800m Run, third in the 1600m Run, and second in the 3200m Run. William was also sixth in the Triple Jump, while Gavin Foster took third in Shot Put, followed by Braden Witt with ninth in the Shot Put. Finally, in the Discus, Braden took third, followed by Gavin Foster taking fifth place.
