Kansas Elks Foundation Scholarships.  There are at least two scholarships available.  The first is the MVS (Most Valuable Student) with varying due dates. The second is a Legacy scholarship for children or grandchildren of Elks and is due by January 29.  Varies
KLL Memorial Scholarship Foundation - in memory of Kelly Lynn Lutz.  $2000 renewable for up to 4 years for students who have lost a parent to cancer.

America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders. There are nearly 60,000 average annual job openings in agriculture and only 35,000 college graduates expected to fill them.  Now is the time to apply for an ag scholarship! Apply November 15 through February 1 
Reno County Conservation District. The Reno County Conservation District hopes to foster the higher education efforts of Reno County students interested in natural resource conservation and agriculture by offering a $250 scholarship.  Applicants must be Reno County residents, enrolled in or who have applied to a college freshman level curriculum and pursuing programs of study in any field of natural resource conservation or agriculture.  Reno County Conservation District Scholarship Application

Hutchinson Community College. After completing your application for admission students need to set up their DragonZone account, their 24 hour gateway to HCC. From there students can complete the online scholarship application. Priority deadline for HCC Scholarships is February 15. February 15
Glenn Lygrisse/ KACRAO Scholarship (Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officials). The deadline for students wanting to be considered for this scholarship is February 15. This scholarship is to reward and encourage students who have demonstrated quality leadership during their high school years. There are four $250 awards available February 15
The Kansas Association of Directors of Plant Facilities will award three $1,000 academic scholarships and one $1,000 technical scholarship. You must be a custodial worker or the child of a custodial worker. You must be planning to attend a college in Kansas. The deadline is February 15. February 15
The Buick Achiever’s Scholarship.  Buick Motor Company will award 50 scholarships worth up to $25,000. This award is for students planning to attend a four year college who plan to pursue a career in an automotive related industry, engineering, technology, design, or business. February 27
Bill Spaniol Memorial Scholarship. To promote the Kansas Environmental Health Association (KEHA) as a professional organization and encourage individuals to pursue a degree in Environmental Science or a related field by offering one or more scholarships annually in the amount of $500 to qualifying individuals.  February 28

Hutchinson News Future Journalist Scholarship.  Awarded by the Hutchinson News to students interested in any form of journalism including print, broadcast, or photography. Westar Energy/Haines-Weber Scholarships. A minimum of 12 community scholarships will be awarded annually to 12 Kansas high school graduates.  February 15 and March 15
Agriculture Future of America offers financial support to students pursuing a four-year degree in an agriculture-related field.  March 17

The American Legion offers a number of scholarships and other resources to assist young people in their pursuit of higher education. There are opportunities for everyone, including kin of wartime veterans and participants in Legion programs. Varies - April 15, May 15

Community Impact Awards.  Through the Community Action Scholarship program through the Soroptimist International of Hutchinson group.  $250 scholarship + $250 donation to a local non-profit organization.   Community Impact Award March 31

KANSAS HORSE COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP is awarding seven $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors throughout the state of Kansas . The AAU High School Sullivan Award & Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors in any sport who are or have been AAU participants. Qualities of individuals should emphasize leadership, character, sportsmanship, academics and accomplishment in sport. $40,000 will be awarded to 8 recipients nationwide; four males and four females.   April 1
Steve Harper Memorial Scholarship This $1,000 scholarship (paid at $500 a semester) is presented to Kansas youth pursuing wildlife or nature based careers at Kansas colleges, with Kansas based career goals. The scholarship is sponsored and funded by the Outdoors Writers of Kansas, a group of assorted journalists, photographers and artists dedicated to sharing the greatness of the Kansas outdoors through print, broadcast and online markets. The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) is a multi-state tuition reciprocity program. Through the MSEP, public institutions agree to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for specific programs; private institutions offer a 10% reduction on their tuition rates. Over 100 colleges and universities in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin have opened their doors to each others' citizens at more affordable rates.  Varies
