Reno County Conservation District. The Reno County Conservation District hopes to foster the higher education efforts of Reno County students interested in natural resource conservation and agriculture by offering a $250 scholarship.  Applicants must be Reno County residents, enrolled in or who have applied to a college freshman level curriculum and pursuing programs of study in any field of natural resource conservation or agriculture.  Reno County Conservation District Scholarship Application

Hutchinson Community College. After completing your application for admission students need to set up their DragonZone account, their 24 hour gateway to HCC. Glenn Lygrisse/ KACRAO Scholarship (Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officials). The deadline for students wanting to be considered for this scholarship is February 15. This scholarship is to reward and encourage students who have demonstrated quality leadership during their high school years. The Kansas Association of Directors of Plant Facilities will award three $1,000 academic scholarships and one $1,000 technical scholarship. The Buick Achiever’s Scholarship.  Buick Motor Company will award 50 scholarships worth up to $25,000. This award is for students planning to attend a four year college who plan to pursue a career in an automotive related industry, engineering, technology, design, or business. www.buickachievers.com February 27
Bill Spaniol Memorial Scholarship. Hutchinson News Future Journalist Scholarship.  Awarded by the Hutchinson News to students interested in any form of journalism including print, broadcast, or photography. The American Legion offers a number of scholarships and other resources to assist young people in their pursuit of higher education. Community Impact Awards.  Through the Community Action Scholarship program through the Soroptimist International of Hutchinson group.  $250 scholarship + $250 donation to a local non-profit organization.   Community Impact Award March 31

KANSAS HORSE COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP is awarding seven $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors throughout the state of Kansas . The AAU High School Sullivan Award & Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors in any sport who are or have been AAU participants. Steve Harper Memorial Scholarship This $1,000 scholarship (paid at $500 a semester) is presented to Kansas youth pursuing wildlife or nature based careers at Kansas colleges, with Kansas based career goals. The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) is a multi-state tuition reciprocity program. Through the MSEP, public institutions agree to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for specific programs; private institutions offer a 10% reduction on their tuition rates.
