Kansas Elks Foundation Scholarships.  There are at least two scholarships available.  The first is the MVS (Most Valuable Student) with varying due dates. The second is a Legacy scholarship for children or grandchildren of Elks and is due by January 29.    http://www.kselks.org/Index-S.asp   Varies

The American Legion offers a number of scholarships and other resources to assist young people in their pursuit of higher education. The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) is a multi-state tuition reciprocity program. Through the MSEP, public institutions agree to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for specific programs; private institutions offer a 10% reduction on their tuition rates. Over 100 colleges and universities in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin have opened their doors to each others' citizens at more affordable rates.   http://msep.mhec.org/   Varies
